Hanzala’s relationship

Handala is a Palestinian icon, and she is the most famous character drawn by Naji Al-Ali in his caricatures, which he presented in 1969 in the Kuwaiti Al-Seyassah newspaper. Handala represents a ten-year-old boy. Handhala became Naji Al-Ali’s signature and became a symbol of Palestinian identity, even after the death of the character’s author.
